Welcome, I am so glad you are here.

I am currently accepting new clients in Connecticut for Telehealth Therapy

About Me

My name is Muna Bhandari and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut. I have over eight years of experience working in the mental health service field across inpatient and outpatient settings. I have a strong background in working with diverse populations and have helped many individuals navigate anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and move towards a more fulfilling and values-driven life. I have a special interest in working with individuals going through life transitions, pregnancy related issues including loss, adoption, relationship/ family dynamic issues, parenthood, and work/life balance including those with demanding careers.

Therapeutic Style

I believe in the importance of getting to know each individual as a whole person and by understanding your unique strengths, struggles, upbringing, and cultural background, I tailor treatment to best suit your needs.

In my practice, I use a psychodynamic lens integrating culture, attachment theory, and neurobiology, all while striving to ground my work in empathy, compassion, and authenticity. I have a strong commitment to trauma-informed care and prioritize understanding the entirety of a person including sociocultural systems that influences an individuals worldview.
